Challenge Belts

After students have achieved their Black Belt status in their grade level repertoire, they may move onto the CHALLENGE BELTS! There are 7 categories of challenge belts that explore various musical styles, new notes, extended range, and more difficult rhythms and forms. There is no specific order to the challenge belts, so students may select the belt that interests them the most, and then continue on in whatever order they wish. These belts are tracked from year to year so that the student can pick up where they left off at the end of the previous school year.

Classical Belt

The Classical Belt features many famous melodies from various classical composers throughout history. Learn to play music by Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky, and more!
