Link Up is a program that our third grade students participate in each year. They learn all about the instruments and sounds of the orchestra, study different aspects of musical theory and history, and learn to play the soprano recorder. Each student receives a soprano recorder and student lesson book with all of the music for the concert. We practice the recorder parts and learn to sing the songs so that we can participate in a fantastic interactive concert event in May. This program is used to supplement our third grade music curriculum at PS 51.

This year’s 2015-2016 program fees will hopefully be paid for by a Donors Choose Grant so your child will not have to pay any fees to participate in the program.
