This year, the NYCDoE has mandated that all teachers submit grades through the online portal STARS. During this new transition, we will no longer be including our arts progress reports in the report card folders. Instead, your child’s music grade will be reported directly on the STARS report card that the classroom teacher will provide you.

Progress reports go out at the end of each trimester in order to inform parents of their child’s growth in music class over the course of the year. Students receive a 1, 2, 3 or 4 according to their own individual growth and effort. The following report cards are samples from previous years as the content and skills change for each semester.
